The principle of the HANS system is very simple: it's nothing more than a support with straps attached to the back and each side of the helmet. The straps' length is adjustable to ensure the rider has limited neck mobility.
Naturally, because of their new attachment points, the drivers' helmets have been redesigned, as have the bucket seats and harnesses, which must be compatible with the HANS safety system, regardless of the discipline: rally, circuit, and motor racing of all kinds. The accessories aim for this compatibility.
