Biography:

Born in the small principality of Andorra, Albert was raised in the elite world of skiing. At just 17 years old, he was the youngest athlete to take part in the XIV OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES in SARAJEVO in 1984.

A year later, while participating in the European Cup in the same city, tragedy struck his professional career and an unfortunate accident ended with the cruel diagnosis: fracture of the dorsal vertebrae. From then on, his life would be spent in a wheelchair. After almost 3 decades, Albert has learned to live with his disability and has shown that in his desire to excel, he can overcome any obstacle, no matter how large.

His fighting spirit and overcoming difficulties have led him to become the only driver in the world with a physical disability who, driving solely and exclusively with his hands, has climbed onto the podium as a winner alongside drivers without any type of disability, quite a challenge!

To achieve this goal, Albert has had to go through a long and difficult path full of shadows and difficulties. Currently, he offers the competitiveness and reliability of any elite driver in a race, since his experience and training allow the development of new technologies applicable to the world of automobiles.
